Limited Shows - COVID-19 Protocols
Friday, October 23, 2020
Over the last months, we have closely monitored the COVID-19 outbreak and followed the developments and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as Departments of Health in the Midwest states including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and others.
All of our large crowd shows and concerts continue to be postponed until further notice.
We are also acutely aware of the economic impact of the pandemic, as well as the mental health issues associated with extended periods of isolation and quarantine. As we approach our winter months in the midwest, we expect mental health is becoming a growing problem in our communities.
Is for that reason that we have decided to introduce some LIMITED ATTENDANCE shows in Minneapolis, We have carefully ensured that all applicable recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health are followed, including but not limited to:
Face coverings strictly enforced
Upgraded cleaning, sanitation, and disinfection protocols at venues
Staff training, preparedness plan, and COVID-19 procedures in place
VERY LIMITED Capacity
Requiring patrons to stay at home if not feeling well
Refund policy modified for those that cannot attend due to health concerns
Advance ticket purchases strongly encouraged
Continue to monitor and follow the Minnesota Department of Health's Guidance for Safe Events
We know many families depend on the hard work and wages of artists, promoters, venues, facilities, city tourism, and countless small businesses that depend on supporting music events. After witnessing so many restaurants, venues, and artists close their doors or declare bankruptcy, we hope to help those families while offering some mental health relief and entertainment options to our community.
Our most important priority will always be the safety and well-being of everyone involved with Buendia Productions' events. For more information please contact us at
Please continue to take care of yourselves and each other. Thanks again for your support of Buendia Productions and see you soon at one of our limited capacity shows!

COVID-19 Response Message to Friends and Community
Friday, April 3rd, 2020
Family, friends, and co-workers around the world are facing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe we have a role to play in cooperating with every sector of society – government, businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals.
As COVID-19 continues to disrupt life, we offer this resource to our community to help understand some of the ways Buendia Productions is doing a small but meaningful part to aid our collective efforts:
Thank our front-line health and food supply chain heroes:
Many friends, family, and members of our community are risking their lives in order to treat those that are sick, and to ensure we have food in our homes. As a small token of appreciation for their efforts, we will offer them free tickets for future concerts.
Full support for mitigation guidelines provided by CDC on social distancing:
Despite the massive economic impact this creates, our stand on this issue is clear: We will not conduct any gatherings (i.e. concerts) until it is safe. We have kept some shows in the calendar for mid-June and early August, but rest assure we are evaluating the viability of such shows daily, and we will revise or postpone such shows if we feel conditions are not safe. Until then, it’s #stayathome show.
Supporting well-established non-profit organizations:
We understand the profound economic impact to our community of artists, partners and the community at large. We have identified outstanding organizations helping people impacted by the crisis on a daily basis. Buendia Productions will match a percentage of your donations to these non-profits:
GRAMMY Recording Academy MUSICARES COVID-19 Relief Fund: http://grammy.com/musicares. MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. With the impact the Coronavirus pandemic has made on our music community, MusiCares has established the COVID-19 Relief Fund to help our peers who have been affected by it.
SWEET RELIEF COVID-19 Fund: http://sweetrelief.org. Sweet Relief has created a donor-directed fund to provide immediate assistance to musicians and music industry workers who have been affected by the Coronavirus. Their COVID-19 fund will support medical expenses, lodging, clothing, food and other vital living expenses for those who have been impacted by sickness or loss of work.
In addition, we will direct 100% of the net profits from our merchandise sales towards providing meals to front-line emergency personnel. Never a better time to get your “Rock en tu Idioma” t-shirt and support a great cause: https://rebrand.ly/BPstore
We are also working with local restaurants and local community organizations helping those in need of food, supplies and help. If you or someone you know is struggling through the crisis, we can help connecting you with someone that may help. Let us know.
Spreading the love of live music:
We are excited to launch our “LIFE OUT LOUD” series of Facebook LIVE mini concerts to continue enjoying the beauty of live music virtually. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more details and make sure you support our partner artists by any of the following means:
Send a message of encouragement to your favorite artist! It’s easy, free, and very impactful!
Send a direct donation to your favorite up-and-coming artists. Many of them can provide their Venmo or PayPal accounts to facilitate donations.
Stream and buy their music from the main streaming platforms and buy some of their merchandise from their web page or fan page.
Thank you for your ongoing support to our company, shows, artists and partners. We strongly believe this crisis will ultimately strengthen our sense of community and, in turn, make us feel closer and more connected. The show must go on.

Over the last days and weeks we have closely monitored the COVID-19 outbreak and followed closely the developments and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as Departments of Health in the Midwest states including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and others. Following their recommendation, we are postponing all our events during the months of March and April 2020.
We strongly believe that musical entertainment is part of our human spirit and that it is our mission to bring the best concerts, festivals and musical events to our audiences. We also realize that the Music and Entertainment industry is a key part of our economic foundation, and that many families depend on the hard work and wages of artists, promoters, venues, facilities, city tourism, and countless small businesses that depend on supporting live and musical events.
However, our most important priority must always be the safety and well-being of everyone involved with Buendia Productions' events. As a result, we are following the recently issued recommendation to postpone all gatherings greater than 250 people.
Please look for an email in the next few days with details about reschedule dates and ticket refund/exchange options. For more information please contact us at
